The Debs Woodturning & Art

The Debs Woodturning

The Debs are: Debra Breton and Debbie Woods, artisans who create most of their works using sustainable woods from trees that have been felled due to storms or construction. The wood is turned on a wood lathe and shaped with  tools. Some pieces are then pierced, carved, dyed or embellished with gems, pyrography or airbrush... Every piece is created with peaceful, loving intention that ultimately gets passed onto the recipient.

In addition to turning wood, Debbie also works with stained glass, creating works that mostly involve birds and her love of nature. While Debra prefers the quiet reflection of painting, using watercolor and acrylics. Both are avid birders with several bird and wildlife images in print.
