"My husband and I compete in agility with our Wheaten Terriers. His dog was approaching a significant achievement - completion of her Master Agility Championship (MACH) title. Earning a MACH takes a great deal of time and dedication; doing it with a Terrier only adds more of both! I wanted to have an extra special gift for him to mark this special occasion. The Whoa Kitty Cherry Vessel gave me an idea for a bowl with figures of my husband's dog taking a jump. After talking to Deb about my idea and seeing that she understood and appreciated my vision, I knew that I had found someone who would be able to work with me to create the unique trophy I was looking for.
Working with pictures of Nikki, she was able to capture her spirit and energy taking a jump. The bowl turned out even better than I imagined. My husband was touched that I thought of something so unique and creative. He claims he knows every one of the pictures that she used. Everyone who saw the bowl was equally impressed. It is a keepsake that has a special place in our home. Each time we look at it, we relive that memorable moment.
I hate to wait until my dog earns her MACH to have a bowl made of her. I just may have to cheat and get one now!
