The Debs are Debra Breton and Debbie Woods, both galleried artists who love to create art from wood (yes, we're addicted). We've been honing our craft since 2002, some of our turned pieces (our babies) live as far away as Austria, Croatia, the United Kingdom and Canada. Our works here in the U.S., currently reside in 18 states and counting...
Our wood turned art is sometimes pierced, carved or embellished with dyes, pyrography and airbrush. This allows us to express ourselves - to put our emotions into the piece. It is especially rewarding to see the reactions of those who are viewing the work. You never know where the inspiration will come from either, most times it is our love and awe of nature that is the impetus. Recently however, I was working on a hollow form whose inspiration came through to me in a dream.
Our hand crafted work will last many, many years and can be passed down for generations, no two pieces are ever the same!
